"Mrs. W. L. Headlee Dies at Eaton Home"
"Mrs. Susie Headlee, 67, died Monday night at her home, 220 Maple street, Eaton. She had been ill for some time. Born Dec. 9, 1889 at Pleasanton, Neb., she moved with her family to Fullerton, Neb., where she was married Feb. 22, 1911 to W. L. Headlee.
They farmed at Silver Creek, Neb., for four years and lived at Chambers, Neb., until moving to Iliff. They returned to Alliance, Neb., in 1923 and moved to Willington in 1931. The Headlees had been residents of Eaton since 1936.
Mrs. Headlee was a member of the Four Square church of Eaton.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Mrs. Viola Lightsey of Ault, Milford Headlee of Pierce, and Mrs. Edna Davis of Eaton; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two brothers, C. F. Remington of Red Feather Lakes and C. E. Remington of Sedro Wooley, Wash.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Macys Eaton chapel, with interment at the Eaton cemetery."
