The funeral of Mrs. John Shump, Sunday, was attended by a large number of friends and neighbors at the residence of L. N. Shump. The ceremony was conducted by a former teacher and friend of the deceased. The Glendale Sunday school choir rendered quite a number of appropriate hymns in a beautiful and impressive manner. The remains were taken to Elliott county, Ky., late residence and home of the deceased for burial by John Shump, husband of the deceased, and by his brother and sister, Burchard and Ella Shump.
