Isaac "Ike" Acre/Acrey was born in the month of October about 1863-1865 in Kentucky to Camilla (Michael) and Amos Acre/Acrey. He married Chloe Rector, daughter of Rebecca (Owens) and William D. Rector of Rector Flats, Wayne Co., Kentucky about 1888. They were the parents of four girls: Mery H., Myrta, Gertie, and Onia. Ike moved his wife and children with him to Randolph Co., Missouri between 1900 and 1903. He died in that county in 1903. His widow became the second wife of Charles H. Johnston about 1904 in Randolph County, Missouri.
