S. V. Adams, who has been in ill health for some time, passed away at his home Friday evening. Funeral services were conducted at Jessup Sunday with interment in the cemetery nearby (Adams, Forks By The Creek). Much sympathy is extended to the family.
Silas "Bruzz" V. Adams, was born March, 1859, in Fonanet, Parke county, Indiana to Elias Adams and Sarah Sample Husbands.
On 28th March 1886, he was united in marriage to Nancy Hawkins. To this union five sons and one daughter was born; Artie Raymond, Ared, Edgar, Noel Richard Jarvis and Gladys (Mrs. Claude Pefley).
