Mrs. Mollie Allison Newby, 79, of Madison Route one, died at her residence on August 28 at 2:30 a.m.
She was the daughter of Jerome Allison and Mary French.
Funeral services were conducted at Bethel Church with interment following in Cambridge Cemetery [Athens City Cemetery] on August 29 at 3 p.m.
She is survived by four daughters, Mary Newby and Madge Newby, Mrs. B. L. Rainey and Mrs. Ben P. Peete; four sons, John, William, Horton and Cloyd, Little Rock, Ark.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Ada Johns, Mrs. Mattie Lou Harris and Mrs. Ida Enders; five half-brothers, Ed, Roney, Walter, Jim and Rich Allison.
