Death Takes Otto Adolf
DALLAS (Special) - Otto B. Adolf, 52, a Dallas businessman and civic leader, died this morning at Dallas Hospital.
He was a past president of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas Lions Club. Mr. Adolf was past District Governor of Lions, and was a district councilor for the Boy Scouts.
He was owner of Adolf's Electric here, and resided at 115 Court St. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and had been instrumental in organizing it.
He was born Jan. 8, 1908, at Sherwood. He was married Nov. 2nd, 1929, at Yankton, South Dakota to Selma Shatz, who survives. They lived in Idaho before moving here in 1934.
Also surviving are a son, Alvin, Dallas; mother, Mrs. Mary Adolf, Buhl. Idaho; two brothers, Errick, Seaside, and Robert, Hagerman, Idaho; a sister, Helena Williamson, Nampa, Idaho; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Wietzke officiating.
Burial, will follow at Dallas Cemetery. Bollman Funeral Home is in charge.
