Iona Rasmussen farmed with her husband south of Froid until 1960 when they moved into Culbertson. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church, the Altar Society, and the Roosevelt Memorial Hospital Guild. Mrs. Rasmussen died Monday of injuries received in a 2-car accident in Sidney. She was 59. She was a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Gus Krohmer. On June 9, 1941 she married Ralph C. Rasmussen. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Gary and Duane, both of Culbertson, and Dan of Fromberg; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Karen) McKinney of Sidney, and Mrs. Jerry (Ardis)Neumann of Billings; three brothers, Carroll and Delmer both of Froid, and Melvin of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; a sister, Mrs. Grace Luebke of Shelby; and 12 grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Everson Clayton Memorial Chapel in Culbertson. Services will be Friday at St. Anthony's Church with burial in the Froid South Cemetery.
