Tribute: Dot Corey was born to Elmer and Jennie Christensen in Koosharem, Utah.

In 1946, she married Pete Corey and had two daughters, Pat and Ailene. They called many places home including Kenilworth, Utah; Glenwood Springs; Moab, Utah; and Payson, Utah.

After the death of her husband, Mrs. Corey worked at J.C. Penney Co. in Pueblo until she retired. She loved to get dressed up, put on her high heels and go dancing. She enjoyed planting flowers, and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who fondly knew her as "G.G." She loved big family dinners and cooking for her family and was beloved for her pies. She especially loved picnics and fishing in the mountains of Colorado and Utah. She loved quiet one-on-one talks with her grandchildren, always offering her support.

Mrs. Corey was a beautiful lady who always looked like a million bucks and will be remembered fondly as a gentle and generous person. She died June 15 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado inpatient unit in Greeley.

Survivors: Two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Kent Turnbeaugh of Windsor, and Ailene and Don Johnson of South Jordan, Utah; a sister, Blenda Hadden of Gibson, Ga., a brother-in-law, Cleon Brown of Lindon, Utah; and a sister-in-law, Eris Christensen of Billings, Mont.; six grandchildren, Darren Turnbeaugh and his wife Angela of Littleton, Kimberly Marick and her husband Mike of Greeley, Nicole Turnbeaugh of Windsor, Brad Johnson and Tim Johnson, both of Sandy, Utah, and Valerie Johnson of South Jordan; and four great-grandchildren, Matt and Tyler Marick, both of Greeley, and Talon and Spye Turnbeaugh, both of Littleton.

Preceded in death by: Her husband, her parents, a brother Newell Christensen and two sisters, Thelda Anderson and Verus Brown.

Services: Interment and graveside services will at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Payson City Cemetery, 800E 400N, Payson.
