PRINCEVILLE -- Gary J. Pierce, 42, of Princeville died at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 1994, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born Dec. 10, 1951, in Kentucky to Robert L. and Orvivan McNear Pierce, he married Pam Ely on Nov. 18, 1975, in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are his mother of Campbellsville, Ky.; one daughter, Sara Pierce at home; four brothers, Charles, Tommy, Earl and Bobbie, and two sisters, Mae Hardison and Mary Jo Johnson. His father preceded him in death. He was a senior draftsman for the Butler Service Group in Chillicothe. He was a member of the Hook and Bullet Club in Victoria. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hammitt Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. W.A. Mitchell will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home.
