Mrs. Oertley died Monday at Proctor Community Hospital in Peoria.
She was born in Akron Township, Peoria County, Feb. 25, 1890, a daughter of Charles and Mary Steinman Fritz. She married Wilbur Oertley in Peoria County Jan. 19, 1910. He died in 1968.
Surviving are a son, Donald, of Princeville; a daughter, Mrs. Irene Goeckel, of Westchester; a brother, Charles, of Toulon; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Dickinson, of Princeville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Two sons, a daughter and three brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Oertley was a member of First Presbyterian Church; Peoria County Home Extension; Chapter 229, Order of Eastern Star; and the DW Club.
