Angeline Cerney, age 95 of Blue River, died on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Boscobel Area Healthcare. She was born March 21, 1913 in Castle Rock township, the daughter of Joseph and Jessie (Yanna) Marish.

Angeline was united in marriage with Louis Cerney on June 6, 1931, and they farmed and raised their family together on the round barn farm for 56 years. They celebrated 62 years of marriage prior to his death on September 14, 1993. Angeline also worked at the Blue River Café. At home she enjoyed flower gardening and feeding the birds.
Survivors include her two sons: Ben (Carol) Cerney of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Ken (Kathy) Cerney of Blue River,
six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, her special friend Tina Clary and special nieces Elaine Kovars and Cheryl Heffner, as well as
nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Angeline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the BLUE RIVER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. Pastor Harriett Rowland and Father Carson Culver co-officiated Burial was held at the Blue River Cemetery.

Friends called at the GODAGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL in Blue River on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 4 PM until 8 PM. Friends also called at Blue River United Methodist Church on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Memorials in Angeline's name may be directed to the family in lieu of flowers.

The Godager Funeral Home of Muscoda assisted the family with their arrangements.
