Byerly. In Reinbeck, Iowa, June 30, bright's disease, William Wallace Byerly, in his 70th year.

The deceased was born in Ross county, Ohio, August 19th, 1831. Nine years later he came west with his parents, who located in Dubuque county, and Iowa has ever since been his home. He was a soldier in the Mexican war. October 14th 1850, he was united in marriage with Elizabeth Stickler [Stichler] who survives. Unto them were born ten children, six of whom are still living - William and J.R. Byerly, of Cedar Rapids; Geo. M. Byerly, of Reinbeck; Mrs. J.H. Blackford, of Albernett; Mrs. J.H. Moyer, of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Jas. Cother, of Spirit Lake. Mr. Byerly had been in poor health for several years, andthe end was fully expected. Burial was in Lakeview cemetery here on Monday.
