Both his grandfathers were Revolutionary soldiers, and his father a soldier of the war of 1812; John Taylor was a noted pioneer of Weller Township, Richland co was born in Greene County Pa in 1788 and moved to Weller Twp in 1818 where he entered his land from the Government.
