Isaac Taylor, son of John and Mary Kaiser / Keyser Taylor, spent the early part of his life as a young man, farming land in Whiteley, Greene, PA. He married a Greene county girl, Mary Garrison (1796-after 1850) and moved with his brother, Benjamin, to Wetzel, West Virginia, prior to their parents' deaths.


Isaac and Mary had at least 6 children:

1. Leonard Taylor (bef. 1823 - )

2. Margaret Ann Taylor (abt. 1823-1902)

3. George Taylor (1829- )

4. Charles Taylor (1830- )

5. Barbara Taylor (1834- )

6. John Taylor (1840- )


Isaac Taylor died in 1845. Mary is shown in the 1850 Wetzel Census, with 3 children ages 10-20 living with her, as well as a young granddaughter, Charlotte Cross, daughter of Margaret Ann.
