Mary Bell Crosley was born on 13 May 1907 in Montgomery, Alabama to David Edward and Minnie D. Crosley. She married Benjamin Horace Hyder on October 3, 1929. He preceded her in death. She married Earnest Lindsey in 1954 in Dallas, Texas. She opened a hat, flower & gift shop in Dallas, which she named Mary Lynn's. She was active in her local Baptist church and the Eastern Stars. She died on 19 January 1985 in Ranger, Texas. She is survived by her husband - Earnest; her daughter - Edith Ann (Hyder) Baker and husband Tommy, granddaughters - Sara Ann Baker Owings, Roberta 'Robbie' Baker Robinson and husband Richard and Mary Jo ‘Joey' Baker Tucker; great-grandsons – Robert Forest Lightfoot III, Randy Eugene Robinson and Cory Lynn Tucker and a brother Oliver Lawrence Crossley. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cora Lee (Crossley) Alexander, a nephew, William Edward Alexander and her parents.
