KOOSHAREM, Utah--Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ruby Arminta Olsen Bagley, age 94, died May 31, 1994 at her home in Provo.
She was born July 7, 1899 in Koosharem, Utah,
a daughter of Peter E. and Constance Melvina Schaugaard Olsen. She married Edward Merrill Bagley September 8, 1920 in the Manti LDS Temple. Merrill died March 11, 1981. She was very active in the LDS Church serving as president of the Relief Society, Primary and MIA in the Koosharem Ward. She lived in Koosharem all her life, then moved to Provo in 1985 to be near her children.
She was an excellent homemaker, cook, gardener, and seamstress, but most of all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Elaine Bagley, Melva and Vermont Harvard, all of Provo; Lowell E. and Aleith Bagley of Orem; Jay M. and Betty Bagley of Logan; Lell O. and Carole Bagley, Fern B. Johnson, all of Salt Lake City; Carolyn and Howard Edwards of La Canada, Calif.; 29 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 4, 1994, at 1 p.m. in the Koosharem LDS Chapel, where friends may call for viewing from 11 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial in the Koosharem Cemetery under the direction of Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina.
