DIED
Phillip Herndon, of Oseuma, 52 years of age, died at his home last Thursday night and his remains was laid away in the Fairland cemetry [sic] Friday evening.
The cause of his death was by runing [sic] a rusty nail in his foot and it caused lockjaw. He left a wife and family with his many friends to mourn his loss.
The funeral services was conducted by Bros. Byars and Westerm at the Christian Church.
