Funeral services for Nell Doan Rasco, 90, of Wichita Falls, were held Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Bethel Temple Christian Center in Abilene with the Rev. Frank Estes, pastor, officiating. Interment followed in Restland Cemetery in Olney under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rasco was born Jan. 16, 1917, in Neighborton, La., to the late Clib and Nida Bernice (Willingham) Doan. She died Thursday, Oct. 11, in Wichita Falls.
She was an LVN for many years in the Abilene area, and was a charter member of the Bethel Temple Christian Center. She moved to Wichita Falls from Abilene in February 2007.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and James Doan; and three sisters, Bessie Sartin, Dorothy Darr and Mary Lester.
Survivors include one brother, Curtis Doan and wife Lucille of Waco; one sister, Billie Gatlin and husband Curley of Frisco; and nieces and nephews.
