Virgie Carrico, 90, of Bridge City died Feb. 26, 2001, at Mid-Jefferson Hospital in Nederland.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City with a graveside service at 4 p.m. at Restland Memorial Cemetery in Carthage. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Wednesday to time of service at the funeral home.

A native of Panola County and a former resident of Carthage, she lived in Bridge City 26 years and was a homemaker.

Survivors include sons, Laverette Carrico of Dubach, La., Walt Carrico of Magnolia and Butch Carrico of Deer Park; daughters, Shirley Smith and Linda Cappel, both of Bridge City; brother, Troy Lake of Timpson; three grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
