Susan was the daughter of Rev. Benjamin Hill Passmore and wife, Annie Elizabeth Grubbs who are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Goliad, Tx. At one time Susan was married to David Thomas Crittenden Butler, of Wilson County, Texas. Their children were Roger Crittenden, Annie Lois, and Hugh Benjamin. Susan was a teacher in the Texas public school system.
