Mrs. Blanche (Barritt) Maddox was born at Cainsville, Mo., on Feb. 12, 1899, to James M. and Nancy J. (Franklin) Barritt, being 20 years, 1 month and 4 days old. She was united in marriage to Mr. Jacob H. Maddox about three years ago. They resided on what is known as the Joe P. Ray’s place, having moved there this year.

Preceding her in death were her parents James and Nancy Barritt,

She is survived her husband Jacob and son Melvin, her 5 sisters, Anna R. McLain, Alice McLain, Minnie B. Gossett, Donna P. Burrus, Daisy M. Bubenzer, and 3 brothers, Millard L., Harrison H., and Jess O. Barritt

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Walter Martin, were held at the Pleasant Hill Church, south of town, Tuesday at 12 o’clock after which interment was in the Clintonville Cemetery.
