MRS. LYDIA WEYANT BURKET, widow of Professor John C. Burket, a former principal of the Tyrone and of the Gaysport schools, died at her home in Syracuse, N.Y., on Sunday morning at 2.30 o'clock, death being attributed to a heart condition following a short illness. She was born at Queen, Bedford county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zachariah Weyant. About twelve years ago Professor and Mrs. Burket went to Syracuse where her husband died in January 1930. Surviving are two sons, Earl of Minneapolis, MN, and Ray, at home, and one sister and two brothers, Mrs. James A. Weyant and Albert Weyant of Queen and Samuel Weyant of Sproul.
