Mr. Willie Junior Sheets, better known as "June", age 74, of Sheets Gap Road, Millers Creek died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00, Tuesday, July 8 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Roten and the Rev. Jim Belcher officiating. Burial will be in the Sheets Family Cemetery. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 Monday night.

Mr. Sheets was born in Wilkes County, January 28, 1934, to Eugene and Rosie Dancy Sheets.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sheets is preceded in death by a sister, Zola Roten Billings.

Mr. Sheets is survived by his wife, Georgia Alice Bowlin Sheets of the home; two daughters, Wilma S. Clanton of Boomer and JoAnn S. Hutchinson of Traphill; one son, Kenneth Grady Sheets of Millers Creek; one sister, Agnes S. Mash of North Wilkesboro; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
