Mrs. W.L. Sorrell, a lifelong resident of Dripping Springs, died at her home there Tuesday. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ola Barder of Dallas; Mrs. Ruby Bintliff of Corpus Christi; and Mrs. Moselle Joy of Henly; five sons, Ernest Sorrell of Carizzo Springs; Lloyd Sorrell, Paul Sorrell, Ollie Sorrell and Leon Sorrell, all of Drippins Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Criss McCormack of Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. Flora Davis of Austin; and Mrs. Jodie Deck of Dripping Springs; and one brother, Ollie Martin of London. The body is at the family residence in Dripping Springs. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ in Dripping Springs under the direction of the Cook Funeral Home. G.H.P. Showalter will officiate. Pallbearers will be Alfred Holman, Virgil Conn, Will King, Dayton Roberts, Lee Berkley, and Wiley Hayden. Burial will be in the Phillips Cemetery.
