Funeral services for W.L. Sorrell of Dripping Springs will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ, under the direction of the Cook Funeral Home. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery. He died at his home early Friday morning. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. W.L. Sorrell; three daughters, Mrs. Ola Barder of Dallas; Mrs. Rubie Lee Bintliff of Corpus Christi; and Mrs. Mattie Mozell Joy of Henley; five sons, Earnest C Sorrell of Carrizo Springs; Lloyd J Sorrell, Ollie S Sorrell and Leon W Sorrell all of Dripping Springs; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Howard of California. Pallbearers will be Leroy Roberts, Alfred Holman, Wolf Cobb, Lee Berkley, Howard Gilmore and Virgil Conn. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie "Sam" Butler, Roy Breed, Bill Hayden, Tommie Anderson, Bill Crow, Enge Neadham, Pete Glausson, Glenn Kay, Louis Jennings, Louis Gage, Ira Combs, John Hudson, K.C.
