Word has been received in this city of the death of Mrs. J. L. Stice, which occurred at her home in Shaefer, N. D. Until two years ago, Mrs. Stice was a resident of this city. She resided in North Eighth street. Decedent is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Buck, Modesto; three sisters, Mrs. George Baker, Mrs. Fred Baker, and Miss Lillian Buck, and one residing in Indiana; four brothers, John Alvin and Herman of Modesto, and one residing in Indiana.
