CARMEAN--Died, at 10;20 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 1908, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. W. E. Eckman, 457 West Allen street. Mrs. Emelein Carmean, aged 70 years. The funeral will be held at 10:30 o'clock this morning at the residence of her daughter. Rev. J. D. Eckman of Decatur will officiate. The interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery. The services will be private. The decedent is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eckman and Miss Louise Carmean of Colorado, and one son Arthur of Graham, Missouri.
Her parents were Robert and Catherine(Florey) Stuart. She had been married to Joseph Carmean on June 10, 1855 in Macon County, Illinois.
