Alta Kroger Remsburg, 68, formerly of Earl Park, died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday in Indiana Veterans Home, West Lafayette. She had been in failing health the past two years.
Born in Monticello, Ky., Aug. 16, 1921, she had lived at the veterans home since April 1985, moving there from Earl Park.
In April 1944 she was married in Kentland to Floyd F. Remsburg. He died Nov. 6, 1988.
Mrs. Remsburg was a homemaker and a member of Earl Park Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a son, Dennis Remsburg of Lafayette; and three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Caroline) Goddard of Morocco, Mrs. August (Margaret) Sorson of Flora, and Neil Hazel of Tucson, Ariz.
