He was born on October 23, 1945 in Kankakee, Illinois to the late Floyd and Alta Krug Remsburg. He married Deborah "Debbie" Gaylord on January 27, 1968 in Fowler.
Being an only child, Denny always considered his wife's brothers and sisters and their families as his own. They include June and Gary Connor of Fowler, Kenny Gaylord of Aurora, IN, Joan and Butch Wang of Sheldon, IL, Joe and Fran Gaylord of West Lafayette, David and Michelle Gaylord of Fowler, Terry and Donna Gaylord of West Lafayette, and Sandy and Joe Tubbs of Lafayette; 21 nieces and nephews and 31 great nieces and nephews.
