Mrs. Frances H. Wood (1873-1951), 78, died yesterday at her home in Georgetown, after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held today at 4 p.m. at the San Mateo Baptist Church with Rev. Henlee Barnette, officiating. Interment will be made in the family plot in the San Mateo Cemetery under the direction of W. Carl Davis & Son.
Mrs. Wood resided in San Mateo for 20 years prior to moving to Georgetown in 1945.
Surviving are the widower, James T. Wood, Georgetown; children, Mrs. Edna Stanley, Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. F. L. Pybas, Greenwood, Miss., C. S. Wood, Houston, Texas, B. F. Wood, Independence, Mo., W. W. Wood, Fruitland, Tenn., J. W. Wood, Georgetown; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Wednesday, 13 Jun 1951.)
