Genevieve Catherine Marie Huchton, 87, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008.
Memorial service: 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7341 Glenview, North Richland Hills. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Rosary: 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Genevieve was born Aug. 10, 1921, in Lindsay. She was a devoted wife, sharing 58 years with her husband, Walter. She was dedicated to her family, raising four sons and enriching the lives of their wives, children, grandchildren and friends. Her love of family extended to her sisters and brothers and their families. She held firm to her Christian faith, living the Gospel through her daily actions, and generous and loving spirit. Her faith gave her strength to face the challenges of life and cherish the gifts given. She will be remembered with great love.
Survivors: Her sons, John Huchton and wife, Judith, Kevin Huchton and wife, Pam, Roger Huchton and wife, Linda, and Bryan Huchton; grandchildren, Christopher Huchton, Scott Huchton, Katie Fuqua, Kristin Hofferberth and Marie Huchton; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Yosten and Anne Hale; and brother, Al Bengfort.
