She was living with my grandparents, Martin Villar and Cora Lee Metcalf Mitchell at the time of her death. They were living at 1018 Guillimard, Pensacola, FL. Excerpt from article in the Milton Gazette on Friday, August 24, 1928 about her passing; Mrs. Metcalf came to Santa Rosa county many years ago with her husband. She was a duaghter of Samuel O. and H. A. Adams and was born in Talbot County,GA, June 11, 1842. She married W. H. Metcalf on November 24, 1870. Mrs. Metcalf was a devoted member of the Baptist church and a life member of the W.C.T.U. She joined the church at Union, GA when she was 16 years of age and was a charter member of the East Hill Baptist Church of Pensacola and of the Bagdad Baptist Church.
