OLSEN Thomas T. Olsen III, "Pop", 79, died Monday December 27, 1999. He was born into this world on January 18, 1920 in Tampa, Florida to Irma & Thomas T. Olsen II. In 1939 he joined the United States Navy, and on July 23, 1944 he married Thelma Francioni. He is survived by: his wife Thelma, of the home, five sons: Thomas T. "Skeeter", of Denver, Colorado, Guy of Arcadia, Rob of Midwest City, Kevin of Slidell, Louisiana, and Randy of Midwest City, one daughter Andree' Olsen of Edmond, thirteen grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, two brothers Ray Olsen of Edmond, & Rodney Olsen of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, & one sister Elaine Smith of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was retired from the Navy, a veteran of WWII, the Korean War, and a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church (SE 15th & Felix Drive, Midwest City) with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Barnes & Johnson F.H. 1820 S. Douglas Blvd. MWC 733-2991
