Daughter of Richard and Eliza Smith. Widow of Rufus Dixon Bailiff. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Belle Bailiff Norman (born on September 1, 1904, in Banner Elk, NC, and died on May 5,1933, in Banner Elk, NC, due to puerparal septicemia) who married John Herbert Norma (born on August 21, 1897, in NC, and died on January 8, 1944, in NC) on April 30, 1922. Her daughter and son-in-law had a daughter (Frances M. Anna Belle Norman) who was born in Carter County, TN, in 1926. Cause of death: coronary occlusion. She was buried on November 3, 1967.
