Harriet (Hattie) Elizabeth Huff born to Isaac Huff and Josephine Anphratrite Affantranger Huff in Crawford Co. PA. Moved to Michigan where she met and married Smith Thompson , son of Robert Thompson and Surrissa Lockwood Thompson . Harriet owned land in different places, where she lived, bore three sons (that we know of) but only one, Frederick , lived to see adulthood. She lived next to many members of her family in the different locations where she lived, and helped to raise her granddaughter, my grandmother, Margaret Harriet Thompson Ketchum Roberts . Hattie lies in an unmarked grave next to her husband Smith, in Oak Hill Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Kent County, MI. I placed a wooden cross on her grave with her information recorded on it.
