Mr. Roland was the widower of the late Joyce Patricia "Pat" Roland. Born June 19, 1927, he was the son of the late Andrew Roland and Artie Hook Roland. He was a life time member of Lexington Baptist Church where he was in the Sr. Adult Sunday school class. He retired from Shakespeare. Lawrence was a devoted husband and married for 49 years. He was a devoted, father, grandfather, brother and he was everybody's friend.
He is survived by his son, daughter, two grandchildren, and sisters.
He was predeceased by his wife; brothers, Colie Roland, Willie Roland and N.L. Roland and sister, Audlee Jumper.
