Blanche Mae Mitok
Blanche Mae Mitok (nee Hess), age 92, late of Joliet, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Provena Villa Franciscan, Joliet.
She is survived by two sons, Paul (Pat) Attaway Jr., of Elwood and Joseph Attaway of Chicago; four grandsons, four great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Viola Deutschman Hess; first husband, Paul Attaway Sr., second husband, Edward Mitok; two brothers, Ray and Harvey Hess; and one sister, Alice Kurth.
Blanche Loved flowers and she loved her Church.
Private funeral service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008. Interment St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery Joliet. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.

A correction to the obituary was noted by Blanche's nephew, John Hess. John stated that Blanche's father's first name is John, not Paul. Also, according to the family bible, Blanche's birth date was June 27, 1917 making her 91, not 92.
