e married May 14, 1847 at Mercer County, OH. to Caroline Wilhelmine Dorothea Beckmann b. June 21, 1828, Prussia and d. Feb. 3, 1884, Nemaha County, Ne. at the age of 56 years, and 18 days.

Caroline was first buied at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Humboldt, Nemaha, NE. and later moved to St. Paul (Stutheit) Cemetery. The Stutheit church was not yet organized when she passed away. She was moved in Aprox. 1886.

Friedrich and his family moved from Clayton County, IA. to Nebraska in 1866. They set up housekeeping in a sort of tool shed until their house could be built. The land was in Nemaha County, Benton Prec. north of the old Stutheit Cemetery, 7 miles south of Johnson, NE. on Highway #105.

Family states that Friedrich had black hair and was very handsome.
