NAMPA - Funeral services for Mrs.
Bernice Chadwick, 65, of Nampa Route
2, who died in a Nampa hospital Friday
following an extended illness, will be
conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the
Nampa Third Ward Chapel, Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with
Bishop Roy E. Thurgood, Third Ward
bishop, officiating. Interment will
follow in the Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens. Services and interment are
under the direction of the Alsip Funeral
Chapel.
Mrs. Chadwick was born July 2,
1910, at Springdale, Idaho. The family
moved to Weiser when she was a young
girl and then to Meridian where she
resided and attended grade school prior
to coming to Nampa where she attended
Nampa High School. She was married
to Leroy Chadwick June 21, 1931, at
Nampa and their marriage was later
solemnized at the Salt Lake Temple in
Salt Lake City, in July 1931. She has
since resided in Nampa. She was a
member of the Nampa Third Ward
L.D.S. Church and a member of the
Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She is survived by her husband,
Leroy Chadwick, Nampa; two sons,
Ronald L. Chadwick, Anacortes, Wash.,
and Terry L. Chadwick, Mansfield,
Mass.; three daughters, Mrs. James V.
(Maurine) Allen, Orem, Utah, Mrs. T.
Glenn (JoAnn) Haws, Forrest Grove,
Ore., and Mrs. Leo D. (Charlotte) Hall,
Orem, Utah; three brothers, Reo W.
Field, Alton Field, and Darrel Field, all
of Boise; two sisters Mrs. Gail Cheney,
Hammett, Idaho, and Mrs. Dee
Crandall, Mesa, Ariz.; and 24
grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her parents, two brothers and
one sister.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral
Chapel in Nampa all day Sunday and on
Monday until 11 a.m. There will be a
viewing from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Monday at the Nampa Third Ward
Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints.
