Mrs. Florence Hern, 91, died Sunday night at an Atchison nursing home. [She was] born at Reserve, Kansas. She and her late husband Charles, who died in 1967 had farmed south of Hiawatha, until 1958, when they retired and moved to town.
In 1980 she moved to Rushville, Missouri. She was a member of the Reserve Christian church.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol E. Kottman, Rushville, Missouri, and two grandsons, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at the Casselman & Meek Funeral Home, Hiawatha. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha.
