Anchorage resident Anthony Carrollo, 53, died peacefully Dec. 5, 2005, at Providence Alaska Medical Center. A visitation was held at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E St. A service followed with a reception. The Rev. Don McCullough officiated.
Mr. Carrollo was born on July 8, 1952, whereabouts unknown, to Margaret Frances and John Carrollo. His family wrote, "He was a kind person, living his life to the fullest and as he chose." It is unknown how long he had lived in Alaska. Mr. Carrollo is survived by his son, Anthony Barrett; and brother, Charles Lizner. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of boots, hats, gloves or a coat to the homeless.
