Husband of Ada Jack Carver, writer.... They were married in Shreveport, LA. Two children - John Hampton Snell who died in a household accident shortly before his second birthday and only a day before his brother David Snell's birth. Son David became a journalist for Life Magazine
He was principal of newly established Minden High School 1913- 1917 -served in army WW1 and later operated a cotton gin (Wikipedia)

His wife's name was Ada Jack CARVER -They had sons Jackson Snell (born c 1919 in Louisiana, died 27 Mar 1921 in Louisiana) and David Snell (born 28 Mar 1921 in Minden, LA and died July 1987 in Houston, TX).

John's parents were Lewis and Mary Snell.
