KENNETH KNOWLTON ROWE b. Mar. 22, 1924 in Kirksville, MO was the first of two children born to Leslie Nathan Rowe & Hazel Gail Crissey. After high school, he went into the Navy. during WWII he was in the Asian-Pacific area. He saw action in the Philippines during the liberation of troops from the death march.
He met his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Morgano in June of 1946 at a dance at the Aargon Ballroom in Chicago when he was stationed at the Great Lakes attending Radio Materials training school.
They were married in Sept. 21, 1946 in Washington,DC. They lived in Washington, DC and then Kirksville, Missouri for a brief period as Ken finished Naval service during WWII.
In Oct. 1948 they moved to Lake Park, Iowa where Kenneth worked for his father, at the Rowe (farm) Implement business until the end of 1955 when he began farming.
Ken and Betty raised 7 children before moving to Anaheim, California in June of 1962. Ken worked for a foreign sport car dealership as a Car Salesman. Kenneth loved to read and collected many books. In his later years, he traveled with Betty across the U.S. visiting friends and relatives.
