Maureen Gail Rowe, 65, was the fifth of seven children (Kathleen Marie, Kenneth Knowlton, Jr. , Eileen Rosemary, Christeen Kay , Maureen Gail , Ralph Leslie, Leslie Michael) born to Kenneth Knowlton Rowe, Sr. and Elizabeth Rosemary Morgano.
Her paternal grandparents were Leslie Nathan Rowe & Hazel Gail Crissey of Lake Park, Iowa. Her maternal grandparents were Ralph Morgano & Maria Berenice Trivisonno (Italian immigrants) who lived in Chicago, IL.
Maureen spent the first nine years of her life in the Lake Park, Iowa area where her father , Kenneth, first worked for his father's, Leslie Rowe's farm implement, business and in 1955 began farming.
Then in June of 1962 her family moved to Anaheim, California where her father worked for a foreign sport car dealership as a Car Salesman and her mother was a stay at home mom busy raising seven children.
Maureen lived in Anaheim, CA where she graduated from High School . She married #1 Frank J. Gregory on March of 1971. They divorced. On Aug. 18, 1972 in Los Angeles, CA she married Glenn David Rosenthal, b. 3/21/1951. Although the marriage ended in divorce, the marriage produced a wonderful son, Issac David Rosenthal, who remained close his mother, Maureen, her entire life.
Maureen worked for Smith Barney Stock Brokerage in Southern, California.
In 2016 Maureen left southern California and moved to Longview, WA first staying with her sister, Christeen (Rowe) Poole. There she worked for Life Works in Longview, as a Caretaker of elderly.
Maureen was known for staying in touch with cards, email, and Facebook with her family, siblings, and extended cousins. She was interested in genealogy, an interest she inherited from her mother. She also enjoyed crafting, crocheting, reading and travel.
It was through her siblings influence that Maureen became interested in her faith in later years and joined the First Church of God in Longview, WA . Her faith grew to be strong.
She loved her family and adored her grandchildren and kept them in her prayers. They gave her endless hours of delight.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
She is survived by her only child, Morris Rosenthal (Susan) of Yorba Linda, CA. ; three grandchildren, Isaac Rosenthal of Anaheim, CA and Nevaeh and Kahlyn Rosenthal of Yorba Linda, CA; Her six siblings, Kathleen Ray of Denver, Colorado, Kenneth Rowe (Terri) and Eileen Young (Timothy) both of Anaheim, CA, Christeen Poole (John) of Longview, WA and Ralph Rowe (Haili) of North Bend, WA and Leslie Rowe (Irene of Fountain Valley, CA and numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service was held at the first Church of God in Longview and a reception followed. Cause of death: unknown, but Maureen had suffered from heart problems. She died very suddenly.
