LOCAL NEWS--J. H. Roper, a prominent business man of Hobart, member of the firm of Roper & Smith, died Saturday morning of typhoid fever. He was about 40 years old and leaves a wife and four children. Three other children are down with the same disease. Mr. Roper was a brother of Mrs. E. B. Parish of near Inwood.
LOCAL NEWS--Mrs. E. B. Parish was called to Hobart last Saturday by the death of her youngest brother, Mr. Jarvis Roper.
