Florence was the oldest of 7 (2 died in infancy)children of James F Curran and Florence Catherine (Bowes) Curran, all of Philadelphia. She married Stanley Lee Morton (1906-1977) in 1931 at St Anne's Church in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Their only child was Stanley Lee Morton born in Phila in 1932. Except for a short stay in New York, Florence lived her entire life in Philadelphia. She died at the age of 39 in Alexandria, Virginia while visiting her Aunt Jean (Bowes) Devlin.
