Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mona Margaret Baird Ward, 90, departed this life on Thursday, November 22, 1990 in Ogden.
Mona Margaret Baird was born on February 27, 1900 in Willard, Utah, the youngest daughter of Robert Bell and Gwen Davis Baird. She married Angus P. Ward of Willard November 16, 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared and educated in Willard where the family was active in civic affairs and the LDS Church until they sold their farm and moved to Brigham City in November, 1965.She will be missed by her three children, Mrs. Leon W. (Gwen) Carver, Riverdale; Angus Lorin Ward of Laramie, Wyo.; John R. Ward, Fresno, Calif.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11 a.m., at Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington. Friends may call at the mortuary, Sunday, from 6-8 p.m. and Monday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
