She was born in Sheffield Twp., the daughter of Edgar and Hazel (Sprinkle) Lillie. She was a long-time member of the Saybrook United Methodist Church and an active member of the Grottoettes. She enjoyed her flower garden and dancing. Surviving are her three children, Art (Sylvia) Allcock of Ashtabula, Jeannette (Joe) Orlando of Ashtabula, and John E. (Sandy) Allcock of Ashtabula. 10 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren and a sister, Eileen Nemitz of Plymouth Township. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, John Arden Allcock in 1989; her second husband, Herbert Makynen, a daughter, Elaine Willis, and a sister, Vivian Bancroft.
