U.S. ARMY Veteran - Vietnam War

John "Eddie" Allcock, 72, passed away October 18, 2019 at Hillcrest Hospital following a very brief illness.
He was born in Ashtabula on December 31, 1946 the son of John and Winifred (Lillie) Allcock.
Eddie was a graduate of the Ashtabula High School Class of 1965. Following graduation he proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
On September 20, 1969 he married Sandra L. Jana, his loving and devoted wife of 50 years.
He worked for the Illuminating Company for 25 years and retired in 1993.
Eddie loved the outdoors, doing yard work and mowing the lawn; but his family was his reason for living and his one true source of happiness: his wife, his daughter, his son-in-law and his three beautiful grandkids were his world.
He is survived by his loving family: his wife Sandra, his daughter Tonya (Kevin) Burke; his grandchildren: Jana (Matthew Lunghofer) Burke, Kylie (Alex Tulino) Burke and Connor Burke; his brother Art (Sylvia) Allcock and his sister Jeanette (Joe) Orlando.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Elaine Willis.
