CAMERON - Donald Henry Edmonds, 83, of Cameron, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006 in a Temple hospital. Graveside funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21 at the Oak Hill Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. James E. Lafferty officiating.
Mr. Edmonds, a retired painter for Alcoa in Rockdale.
He was born Aug. 4, 1923 in Cameron to Newton and Ida (Blackenship) Edmonds.
He married Mary Jean Bounds on Aug. 20, 1955 and she preceded him in death on Dec. 11 of this year.
Survivors include son, Don Edmonds of Cameron; two daughters, Lauren Svatek of Sugarland and Cynthia Bestor of College Station; sister, Jean Krall of Cameron; seven grandchildren.
